Winter is a time of year that brings with it many outdoor activities such as skiing, sledding, and just playing in the snow.  Although this may be a fun time, it can also be a dangerous one too, especially when you are on the road.  Drivers need to be extra cautious when driving in bad weather conditions not only for themselves, but for others who are on the road as well. When asked what his least favorite part about winter driving was, Kyle Stockdale stated that “My least favorite part about winter driving is the other drivers on the road.  There are the over-cautious drivers who drive really slow, even when the roads are not that slippery, and then there are the under-cautious drivers who aren’t driving safe when the roads are dangerous putting them and others at risk of an accident.”  Every driver must be aware of the road conditions to avoid an accident.

The rifle hunting season started on the fifteenth of November and there are a lot of people who are going to be out in the woods hunting. Although hunting is a fun activity there is always a risk involved. These risk range from getting lost, to shooting your friend in the face or some other accident. These things are surprisingly preventable. All you have to do is follow a few simple tips that will keep you and your friends safe.
